Re: Payet
I spoke to Karen Brady today and she said that he was all due to stay, but when he heard about people standing in the OS he was disgusted and requested to leave.

Re: Payet
If he is not fit enough to sit on our bench he should not go on international duty, as our club is paying his wages we should insist he stays here for treatment, if he is being sold there will be outrage from the fans who will have been treated as mugs.

If he's not fit for us, then how can he play for France!? It shouldn't fucking happen

Re: Payet
Priceless Payet ...

even when his legs give out at the age of 31-32
Arguably his team value wont slide ....

can see him coming on for the last 20-30mins of each
match ....doesn't matter who he's playing he will still
get his 5-6 Critical passes in that time ..not to mention
all his attributes and unmistakable influence on fellow team mates.

How do you put a price on Payet ...there is only one of him.

If he stays for the rest of his days... people will only remember him as a Westham player...Who occasionally played for the Francs.

Love the little Frog

Re: Payet
If Payet wants to leave then 35 million is fine as long as that includes in addition to that money Smalling on a permanent deal and Rashford on loan!

Re: Payet
The directors have said Payet is going nowhere and perhaps the fact he isn't playing would put off any potential buyers from making offers....

Just saying!

Said somewhere the Mancs bid 35 for him, water tester i suspect

We shall see

Re: Payet
Crassus,

I don't believe we have had any concrete offers for him and I don't believe Payet is unhappy either but I do believe that if a really big club came in for him then he would be open to it and I am sure his agent is not discouraging that.

He will still be here on the 1st September but I remain unconvinced why he was not involved today or Thursday.

Re: Payet
Rumour going about that he's had a fitness setback.

He was at the Astra game on Thursday, but ate too much popcorn whilst at the fairground on our doorstep.

He went down with projectile vomiting and is now suffering from acute dehydration.

Gav - I'd say Junior is telling the truth on this occasion. He'll be here next month.

Re: Payet
Bilic said he was relieved after Bournemouth that wed get to the international break with some points. I think he was expecting to lose the first two aways and wanted to take the opportunity to experiment a bit.

Experiment failed. Antonio back to his obviously best positok and valencia had to go on a fre now because he hasn't shown a level of performance that any other team would want some of.

Crassus 9:12 Sun Aug 28
Re: Payet
Gav - I took that to mean Manchester, after the manager said he would

I take your point though

Gavros 9:10 Sun Aug 28
Re: Payet
Jack sullivan said yesterday there was 100% no chance whatsoever that payet would go.

Read into that what you will.

I read it as saying he's not going anywhere.

Re: Payet
Funny business?

Why because all we have heard is rumours but fuck all from the club, Payet or his agent to suggest that he's leaving

Just fucking wait and see

And the anglers with some left over bait

Funny business though you have to agree

Definitely a rumour for the SHORT SHORTERS on here.

Swindon - what if that is happening? Details being thrashed about

Just asking like

Re: Payet
If it was in the Brown era I would be convinced he would be sold last day transfer window. Money in, no chance to spend it, money accounted for by next transfer window. I would hope for better from current owners. They do need succeed on the pitch in new ground if they want to keep it full. They need to keep best players.

swindon hammer 8:46 Sun Aug 28
Re: Payet
Getting bored of this Payet speculation now.
If he goes he goes although I doubt he will because massive transfers like this one would be take ages to conclude and I don't think there would be time for it to happen when you take into account us getting replacements as well.

I think Payet really likes the club and our fans but I do suspect that him and his agent are keeping their options open.

Takashi Miike 8:45 Sun Aug 28
Re: Payet
I think he'd have gone by now if they'd accepted any offers. maybe they're delaying an announcement so they can't spend any of the £50m :.)

Crassus 8:44 Sun Aug 28
Re: Payet
Clauses, clauses

Unless of course his contract has been read by those on here denying that this is all a little left of centre

He may not, and I am not saying he will but I am calling something strange about all this
